There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

When you are in Christ you are a new creature.
I’m gonna stay away from the cliché as best as I can but I will say that our very nature changes.
Where there was guilt and shame there is joy and peace. Before you did not have the power to resist evil; I’m sure that most of you were “good people” before you were in Christ, but being good doesn’t reconcile you to God. Now you have the distinct privilege of being made right with God through Christ. Not only that but the power to resist evil and receive the good.
What we could not do by keeping the law, we can now do through Christ!
No condemnation, when we were condemned Christ came and took away our sentence and now justified us.
I know I’m saying the same things over and over but how do you put it in better terms than the Bible?
So now what? We press toward the mark! We strive to walk as Christ walked, talk as Christ talked, live as He lived and serve as He served. Letting go of every sin that we used to loved and look to Him the beginning and end of our faith.
‘Cause we are now free from the bondage of sin, Jesus makes us free from the bondage of sin!
