~ Lord I Need You...More Than I Can Say ~

Have you ever felt guilty for asking God for something when you know you have not been what you thought you should be? But you ask anyway. Hoping the God will somehow excuse your negligence and grant you "wish" that you so desire (excuse me) NEED. Why do we do that? Could it be that we are not as spiritual as we claim to be? Let's face it, by whatever standard we live by, or hold in our minds, we have all fallen short of our own ideas. So even if we've fallen, strayed or just plain walked away from God remember this...

- HE A'INT NEVA CHANGED -

Seriously this is what He says... "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." "So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him."

Sounds like an open door policy to me, what do you think? I like open doors, especially when it comes to the Ruler of he Universe. It's nice to know that I can go to Him for anything and everything. Just knowing that makes me want so stay close to that I don't have to feel guilty about asking when we haven't talked in a while. But even if you aren't really on speaking terms with God right now He's still waiting for you to come to Him and is eager to hear us call His name when we NEED Him...

Continue the conversation at my blog http://www.Josiahruff.com/blog I can't wait to hear what you have to say.

On a real serious note I would like you all to say a special prayer for those who are hurting today, someone who may not be in a place where they think to pray for themselves. They too need the Holy Spirit for comfort, guidance, forgiveness and support.
